On the 17th of June, 2017 – Women of Hetauda, Nepal made use of services from Nepal JET and Vikasa Tarangini teams to get awareness on deadly disease, cancer. It is heart-breaking to watch the affect of this disease on women. All one can do is ensure it is at least made aware of the disease. Umalaxmi Sapkota and their team are working on this endeavour for a while. The camp was sponsored by Chiteej Youva Club. A nurse, a health official and several volunteers from the club took part in the camp. Dr. Keshav Raj Bhurtel extended his services in the camp with pleasure.
A total of 127 ladies attended the camp. VIA was performed on 123 ladies. Here is the statistics of follow up patients:
