Under the able guidance of Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, Netra Vidyalaya Junior college andย Degree College staff, students & committee members celebrated the World Braille Day at SBH B Colony, Ramalayam Grounds, Hyderabad on 4th January 2020.

The World Braille Day is celebrated every year on Jan 4th to recognize and respect the efforts of Louis Braille. It was his simple yet effectual invention that made it possible for blind people to read as well as write.

Nethra Students performed classical & folk dances, sang group & solo songs, got appreciations from each and everyone.

Ramalayam Temple Management Committee member Sriman Ravikanti Narayana and his son Sriman Ravikanti Srinivas were humble to allow celebrations at the Ramalayam Temple ground.

Walkathon also conducted from Saroornagar lake to Ramalayam SBH B colony and it was inaugurated by Sri Sri Devanadha Jeeyar Swamiji and Sriman Krishna garu. Students, staff and principal Sriman Sudhakar Reddy from Venkateswara Jr. & Degree College and Shantiniketan School – Netra Vidyalaya students, principal & staff, committee members, Vikasa Tarangini members participated the rally and came together to raise awareness towards blind people and to help them stand equally with the rest of the world.

Sri Sri Sri Ahobala Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji, Sri Sri Sri Devanadha Jeeyar Swamiji, Sriman Krishna garu, Sriman Purushotham garu participated in the program and blessed the students.

Program ended with vote of thanks and prayer.
