With unwavering determination and skill, our Indian team conquered the field and made history by winning the series against Nepal in the FEDFINA Womenโ€™s T20 Bilateral Cricket Series for Blind 2023!!

Far from the conventional cricket, we are accustomed to, this adaptive version of the sport not only showcases exceptional athletic prowess but also serves as a testament to the indomitable spirit of women who play the game without the reliance on sight.

The five-match T20 bilateral series between India and Nepal was played from December 11 to December 15 at Police Gymkhana Cricket Ground, Marine Lines West, Mumbai. 3 students V. Ravanni, Sandya & M. Satyavati from our Nethra Vidyalaya schools were part of our Indian team!

India secured the first win by 8 runs in the first match on 12/11. The Indian team’s score was 194/4. Ravanni scored 38 runs in it. Our team continued their success journey in their 2nd match on 12/12 with 149 runs. Nepal coming back in the third game on 12/13 denied India’s Series win. India came back on the fourth T-20 and clinched the series 3-1 with one match to go. Ravanni scored 30 runs in this winning match!

The victory of the Indian Blind Women’s Cricket Team in the bilateral series against Nepal reflects their incredible talent, dedication, and perseverance. Additionally, the achievements of Satyavathi, Ravani, and Sandhya from Nethra Vidyalaya School are indeed commendable, making the school, our nation, and all their supporters extremely proud.
