On account of Acharya Tirunakshtram and Deepavali, a sum of ₹40,000/- and new clothes, crackers etc were donated to Sri Vaaraahi Ashram orphanage, Perianaickenpalayam on 5/11/18. It is run by Sri Manikanda Swamigal and has 110 inmates, including children and elderly people. The inmates also got a sweet treat which were handed over to Swamigal by Vikasatarangini Vice President Sriman Bala Murali.
