From traditional food, displayed by a host of communities, to competitions for children, there is a lot in store at the 11th Hindu Spiritual and Service Fair 2020 held at Vellacheri, Chennai. 43 students attending Prajna classes under the JET chennai along with their Lead teacher Srimathi P.Kamala have participated in this event. Children have recited the Bhakti 12th chapter of BhagvathGeeta and the Prajna slokas spreading the spiritual awareness.
Children have performed Pushpanjali from Lakshmi stotram, Bharthanatyam performanc for Kaliya Mardhana were all eye entertaining.
Prajna kids have showed the importance of the mother Nature, Goddess Lakshmi through the south Indian traditional classical dance Bharathanatyam.
Chief Guest Sriman Vijay Natarajan- Sarada Secondary school retired along with JET Chennai President Sriman P.Ravinder Kumar, Smt V. Anand Kumari, members Smt P.Kamala Garu, Smt Annapoorna Garu, Sriman Chalapati, Smt Jaya Lakshmi, Prema Dhathri Garu, Sriman Shanti Rao, and many others have participated the event and distributed the prizes to the children Srimati P.Kamala sad that the JET is participating in the Hindu Spiritual fair and service from the last 10 years and Prajna kids have been performing there for the past 4 years. They have been conducting the Ramayana quiz, special Bharthanatyam dance performance on Ramanujar by the prajna kids was really amazing. Speaking on the event Smt P.Kamala said thanked all the school committee, Prajna parents and JET members. She said the Prajna curriculum helps the kids grown in a disciplined manner while taking forward the spirituality in daily life.
