The second phase of the “Suphala Yatra” commenced in Andhra Pradesh with great fervor and a firm resolve by HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji for the welfare and empowerment of farmers.
The yatra began with a Teertha Ghoshti at the residence of Sri Koneru Karunakar Garu, organized upon his invitation. Swamiji then had darshan at Sri Subrahmanyeswara Swamy Temple, Mopidevi.
At ZPHS High School, Swamiji addressed farmers and devotees, elaborating on the objectives and significance of the padyatra. The yatra covered approximately 8 kilometers across seven villages, concluding at Ayodhya village.
Despite physical hardships, including thorns piercing His feet, Swamiji continued the padyatra with unwavering dedication and determination, inspiring all participants through His resilience and commitment.
During the yatra, Swamiji personally interacted with farmers in every village, conveying a powerful and heartfelt message:
“Do not spoil the soil, which is like a mother, with chemicals.”
Together with Sri Palekar Vijay Kumar Garu, Swamiji created awareness about natural (organic) farming methods and emphasized the importance of sustainable agricultural practices for long-term soil health and crop quality.
The yatra provided significant encouragement to farmers through two key initiatives:
Sri Palekar Vijay Kumar Garu explained natural farming techniques and highlighted their long-term environmental and economic benefits.
Sri Chalasani Anjaneyulu Garu assured procurement support for produce cultivated through natural methods, motivating farmers to adopt organic farming practices confidently.
