For the first time the Jeeyar Gurukulam (School) has been established in rural areas infested by extremist activities where even government officials fear to step in! Free education, boarding and accommodation are provided to these children of remote rural areas.
The Jeeyar Gurukulam (School) first started in thatched huts with 150 children. On July 27th 2007
HH Sri Swamiji inaugurated the new building of the Jeeyar Gurukulam replacing thatched huts, a school with advanced science and computer technology.
Thanks to many philanthropists for their generous support of the school, which had influenced better living in the entire village.
Parents feel blessed to see their happy children with lot of interest in education.
The children are provided with free uniforms, school supplies, computers, and food. Children are trained in Yoga, discipline and other extra-curricular activities. 
VTSeva is trying to provide as many facilities as possible to educate the people and their families.

Inauguration of School Building: July 27th, 2007
HH Sri Swamiji was received with great joy and celebration by the local tribals. The whole village was in festive mood dancing to the drums and welcoming the guests. It is a rare sight to see in cities today!
The spirit of tribal people was highly contagious and appreciated by all those who attended the program from other places. People were very grateful to HH Sri Swamiji providing school and life to the children.
Jeeyar Educational Trust Society (India) President Sriman Ch. Ramachandra Reddy, along with other members, Government officials, and Heads of the village were all at the inauguration of the school extending warm welcome to HH Sri Swamiji. HH Sri Swamiji blessed all the members of VTSeva, JET and also the local authorities of the village for doing their best in developing the school. Deputy District Educational Officer Sriman Madhukar, ZPTC member Sriman S. Ganganna, MPP Dhanlal Naik, Police C. I Sriman Rama Swamy, F.R.O (Forest Reserve Officer) Sriman Prathap Reddy and many other officials and local heads participated in the function. All the participants and guests were served with delicious lunch along with different sweets, all prepared by VTSeva volunteers.

Science Lab was also inaugurated with basic equipment necessary for the school children.
All the classrooms are spacious and provided with good furniture for the students and the staff. HH Sri Swamiji assured that VTSeva will try to develop the school up to college level if there is good cooperation and participation by the locals.
