VTSeva in India organised a Women health care camp at Sri Ramanagar, Samshabad on Sept 5th 2009. Students of Gurukulam, Students of Netravidyalaya Junior College (For Blind) as well as the staff and their families have participated in this camp. The camp was conducted by the Doctors of YASHODA Hospitals Secunderabad. Camp organised by Sriman T.Suresh Kumar General Manager Yashoda Hospitals, in which 7 Doctors and about 20 Paramedical Staff have participated. They have conducted general tests, Dental Tests, Eye Tests, Cardiology, ECG and also CBP (Complete Blood Picture) to all the students and also to the staff.
A Mobile Hospital (a big Medical Van which has the facilities of X-Rays, ECG, CBP, Lab, 2D Echo, Ultrasound, TMT, Mammogram etc.,) has come to the premises at about 8. AM. along with Doctors and the Paramedical Staff. HH Sri Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji blessed the camp and discussed the details with the doctors and the team. HH Sri Chinnajeeyar Swamiji explained how VTSeva is doing various Medical camps since 15 years. HH gave a detail of how VIA test is being used by VTSeva for the Early detection of Cancer, as recommended by WHO. Doctors said that, we too will discuss with other doctors in the coming meetings regarding VIA tests and make it more aware among doctors.
Dr. Shashidhar Paediatrician, Dr. Ramesh Sagar, Dr. Srinivas, Dr.Sudhir General Physicians, Dr.Charan Cardiologist, Dentist under the guidance of Dr. Satyendra and Opthalmologist under the guidance of Dr.Narahari have all participated with the required equipment and medicines in this camp. Dr. Anasuya a senior doctor volunteered to extend her services along with he doctors of Yashoda Hospitals. In all, during the camp they have checked 279 cases in total. Two complicated cases were found and they were tested and asked to come to the hospital for further action.
The camp was conducted with a lot of enthusiasm, dedication and care especially towards childen and youth.
