The students of Nethra Vidyalaya at District level sports meet 2014@ Andhra University football ground, Vizag, AP, India.
In observation of World Disabled Day on Dec 3rd, Andhra Pradesh State Government has started conducting Sports and games meet in all the districts. In Visakhapatnam, they have conducted it on 24th November at Andhra University Football grounds. Nearly 1000 students with different disabilities like MR, OH, HI & VI participated in the event. Our students took part in the events conducted for Visually Impaired and have excelled in all the events. In all we secured 6 first prizes, 5 second prizes and 9 third prizes.
All the toppers( 6 students from our school) are going to participate in state level competitions to be held at Bapatla (date TBD), AP, India.
