Karimnagar
Walk-a-Thon
Vikasa Tarangini Karimnagar and Chalmeda Institute of Medical Sciences held a walk in Karimnagar to raise awareness about Cancer. Students, doctors and volunteers joined the walk. The walk was held from Court X road to circus ground.
Medical Camp
On the occasion of International Cancer Day 04/02/2016, Vikasa Tarangini, Karimnagar branch held Mahila arogya camp – cancer camp along with Chalmeda AnandRao Institute of Medical Sciences college. On 01/02/2016 and 02/02/2016, door to door survey was conducted with Vikasa Tarangini Members in 26th division, Kothirampur,Karimnagar in about 700 houses.
With the cooperation Of Dr.K.Arun kumar in Oncology(surgeon), Dr.Prassanna & Dr.P.Sujatha in Gynocology ,Medicos,Lakavath Roop Singh(Corporator), Lakshmi Narsimha Rao, K.Devender Rao,CH.Ayodhya Rama Rao participated and made the camp successful.VIA test was conducted for 235 Women. General test was conducted For 179. Total 414 (ENT,Ortho,EYE,general)wermede tested. Lunch Was Arranged to Vikasa Tarangini Members,Medicos And Staff.
Koratla, Karimnagar
Cancer Awareness Program was conducted by Vikasa Tarangini Koratla with the help of Dr. AnuRadha (Gynocologist) & Dr. Srujana (Dentist) at Sri C.V.Raman Jr.College Koratla. Vikasa Tarangini Ktl President Vuppulapu Neeraja, Secretary : Katkam Rajendra Prasad, Hon’ble Members Kailasa Nageshwar Rao, K.Shailaja, A.Shantha, D.Bhuvana, D.Madhuri, P.Vijaya, K.Surekha, S.Laxminarayana , U.Bhupathi and Students, Principal & Staff participated in the program.
