Jeeyar Gurukulam, Birsaipeta – Thunder storm on the 13th of May 2017 damaged the existing infrastructure and the building. Up to 4000 square feet of constructed area which has been under use by many school children broke down into pieces. Although very hurtful, pulling this into an opportunity to provide the students with new and stronger foundation and infrastructure – Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji advised Sriman N. Prabhakar Rao garu to begin reconstructing immediately and look for donors and funds. Some warm hearts and a few lending hands have contributed to get the work started. 16 ft high and 176 ft wide walls for the classrooms and laboratories have begun in fast pace to accommodate finishing the construction as the school re-opens. About 5 lakh rupees have now been collected and spent on this. Several other areas needed rework, such as electricity and plumbing. It is estimated to take about 4 to 5 additional lakhs to complete the work. We urge any donors to come forward in this effort and reach out to 9347076804 for being part of this much needed initiative.
