Soon after the lockdown was imposed across the country, a large number of migrant workers started leaving for their native states on foot in the absence of transport facilities and employment opportunities.
To provide food to the migrated workers from UP and Bihar living around Shamshabad who are facing inconvenience with no food and shelter, VikasaTarangini is distributing lunch and dinner since April 1 st with the help of the Duty Police force around. Food is being distributed from Divya Saketham to all these daily wage workers by the inspiration of HH Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy until the corona situation is under control. Food is prepared at the Divya Saketham Facility under the supervision of the VT Seva organization.
Everyday, close to 700+ freshly prepared sattvic meals are being served to migrant workers.
