Oxygen is one of the most abundant elements in the universe, but patients are dying from a lack of it.
The magnitude of the pandemic has made the demand for oxygen skyrocket.
Since this pandemic for a year, Mahila Arogya Vikas(MAV) has been helping the patients around Vijayawada in providing the oxygen cylinders whenever needed for free of cost.
When appropriate facilities were available to the patients the cylinders are been collected from them and resend to new patients in need.
Mahila Arogya Vikas Mobile screening Vehicle has its own battery-operated oxygen supply device which was used for the covid patients when the oxygen cylinders were booked and unavailable.
This Machine has served more than 100 covid patients during the pandemic.
MAV has provided an oxygen concentrator for about two months during Covid first Wave to a 10-year-old girl suffering from a rare disease .
The team is happy to announce that she recovered well and has given a dance performance during the Dhraumasam celebration at VijayaKiladri.
MAV will continue to provide this service as and when need.
