On April 22nd 2025, on the occasion of World Earth Day, we organized an awareness program about environmental protection.
The event was conducted at Boat Club Public Park, with the active participation of our Kakinada Vikasa Tarangini Coordinator Sri Ramachandra Murthy Garu, Central Committee Member Smt. Ushasri Garu, and several enthusiastic VT members.
We express our gratitude to Park President Sriman Dr. Sridhar Garu for his kind support and encouragement in organizing this initiative.
During the program, Smt. Ushasri Garu and Sri Chanti Garu addressed the public, introducing the mission of Vikasa Tarangini and spreading awareness on how we can protect Mother Earth. They emphasized:
Avoiding the use of plastic
Celebrating festivals like Holi with natural colors
Performing Ganesh Puja using eco-friendly clay idols and natural colors
They also shared the significance and meaning of VT’s slogan, reinforcing our commitment to dharma and seva.
Dr. Sridhar Garu appreciated the initiative and expressed his happiness with the awareness efforts. He also requested that Vikasa Tarangini conduct a medical camp in the near future.
