Under the leadership of Vikasa Tarangini Rajam Branch, an awareness program was conducted on 30 November 2025 (Sunday) to educate the public about the harmful effects of using single-use plastic covers on the environment.
As part of this initiative, 350 cloth bags were distributed free of cost to the residents of Kaspa Street, Bukka Street, and Chikkala Street in Rajam.
The program saw the active participation of Rajam Municipal Commissioner Sri Ramachandra Rao, Former Sarpanch of Saradhi Major Panchayat Sri Tankala Venkatesam, and members of Vikasa Tarangini.
This initiative aimed to encourage the community to adopt eco-friendly alternatives and support environmental protection.
