With humble prostrations at the divine lotus feet of our revered Acharyas, this servant submits the following report.
On the sacred occasion of Ekadashi during the highly auspicious Purushottama Masa (Adhika Masa), a month especially dear to Lord Maha Vishnu, a grand Shitala Upachara Seva was performed for Sri Vasudeva Perumal at Sri Rama Temple under the guidance and participation of Salur Vikasatarangini members.
As part of the celebrations, a solemn and devotional Abhishekam was conducted with 108 Kalasas filled with fragrant and sanctified substances. This was followed by Snapana Tirumanjanam, performed in accordance with scriptural traditions while chanting the Ashtottara Shata Namavali (108 Divine Names) of the Lord.
The divine ceremony was offered as a cooling and refreshing service (Shitala Upachara) to the Lord, using aromatic ingredients and sacred substances, symbolizing devotion, purity, and surrender at His lotus feet. Devotees and Vikasatarangini members participated with great enthusiasm and devotion, making the event spiritually uplifting and memorable.
May the blessings of Sri Maha Vishnu and our revered Acharyas continue to guide and inspire us in the path of devotion and service.
