With the divine Mangalasasanams of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, VTS Bharath, Rajam Branch, observed International Plastic Bag Free Day on 3 July 2026 by organizing an awareness rally in Rajam town and distributing 1,800 reusable cloth bags free of cost in Kondampeta village.
The programme aimed to create awareness about the harmful effects of single-use plastics and encourage the community to adopt eco-friendly alternatives. During the rally, volunteers spread the message of environmental conservation and inspired citizens to reduce plastic usage in their daily lives.
As part of the initiative, 1,800 cloth bags were distributed free of cost to residents of Kondampeta village, promoting the use of sustainable and reusable bags. The campaign received an encouraging response from the local community, who appreciated the efforts taken to protect the environment and promote responsible living.
