The Jeeyar Gurukulam (School), is the 1st school for the tribals, with an enrollment of 350 students. Children from remote rural areas who are otherwise deprived of even basic education, are educated here, at Jeeyar Gurukulam in Allampalli, Adilabad Dist. Andhra Pradesh. Free boarding & accommodation are provided for over 150 underprivileged and low socioeconomic children. Free food & education are also provided for all the 350 students enrolled in this school. Good roads has been laid to connect the people of Allampalli. The school has become the center for all activities of the village.

  1. 350 Tribal Children from 11 thandas (remote tribal groups in the forest) are studying here.
  2. Free Food, Education, Study Material, Clothing and Health Care is also provided for all these children.
  3. Free boarding & accommodation are provided for over 150 underprivileged, low socio economic children. Expansion of the boarding and classroom facilities is under way to accommodate all the students.
  4. A Drinking-Water-Plant, for providing clean drinking water has been built.
  5. Local culture and arts are encouraged.
  6. Education with modern electronic aids, using projectors, models, prototypes is imparted to the students.
  7. Familiarity with the computers, and method of using the computers and its technologies are also taught to the students.

The local people of these tribal villages are inspired by the mission of this school. They are voluntarily giving up habits like drinking alcohol and eating meat. The villagers are making agarbattis (incense sticks) in their spare time and selling them to support their community.
