On 17th May, under the leadership of Sriman Baman Prasad Neupane, Vikasa Tarangini Nepal volunteer team went to Dolakha district’s Vetpu village, the epicenter of 2nd great earthquake. The team reached that place at 1 o’clock at night after walking for three hours. The road was badly damaged and the bus carrying volunteers could not ply. So the team took a tractor. On the way, the tractor met with a small accident and the relief materials were scattered on the road. Luckily all the volunteers were safe. They collected the materials and loaded on the same tractor. The team reached the destination late night and started the distribution 1000 tents in that village the next day, 18th May.
