On 19’Nov’2018 Vikasa Tarangini conducted a two day awareness program on cervical diseases at “Women Student College”, Bank Colony, Tadepalligudem.
Around 350 students attended the program. Inspired by the first day awareness, many students accompanied their mothers the next day for screening during the medical camp “Arogya Vikas” conducted on 20th Nov’18, headed by Smt. K.Madhavi Ravindra Garu and team from Vijayawada. 178 Women were screened and 12 women were advised for further tests.
Speaking to the team Teachers and students recognized Vikasa Taragini camp as a boon for their health awareness and have learnt many things about the women health and measures to follow for better healthy living.
They also mentioned that the camp was very hygienic, precise and had brought awareness to the right people.
The two-day camp was successfully completed with the blessings of Swamiji.
