On 28 MAY 2023 in Nagaram palem, Madhurawada conducted a women’s health awareness and preventive screening camp #Cancer #Awareness and #Health #Screening follow up camp was conducted by #Mahila #Arogya #Vikas .
The camp was conducted under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Leela (oncologist) and Dr. Vasantha (gynaecologist) from KIMS ICON hospital, Visakhapatnam from 9.00am to 4.00 pm.

Follow -up summary:
Women with abnormal findings in our previous preventive screening camps got tested and evaluated further.
Biopsy was done for everyone and the results were negative except for two women.
One woman was found to have pre- cancerous lesion( cervical)and is being treated accordingly.
Another women with lump in the breast was found to be in 4th stage of breast cancer. The patient is undergoing chemotherapy in Mahatma Gandhi Cancer hospital, Visakhapatnam.
