Jai Srimannarayana!
VT Seva Volunteers Cultivate Community with Garden Project at 222 Dey Road Jeeyar Asramam.
On July 5, a dedicated group of VTS Seva youth and adult volunteers braved the blazing summer sun for over four hours, transforming the grounds at 222 Dey Road Ashram into a thriving, colorful garden of hope and nourishment.

A diverse array of vegetable plants were lovingly donated by Sailaja, Suneetha, Aparna, and Jamuna. Volunteers planted a vibrant assortment including juicy tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, tender okra, fresh beans, sweet peppers, earthy beetroot, and an array of leafy greens such as amaranth and mint. The garden now hums with life, promising an abundant harvest in the weeks ahead.

In addition to the vegetable garden, cheerful flowers including radiant marigolds, bold basamania, and charming mums were planted to add splashes of color and joy.
Volunteers began by ploughing and carefully tilling the soil, working together with great enthusiasm and camaraderie. The shared spirit of service and community was palpable as everyone joined hands to sow the seeds of a better tomorrow. During a well-deserved break, Janvi graced the group with a heartfelt song, adding a melodious touch to the afternoon.
Our upcoming service activities include:
The Hunger Project: Food Sorting and Packing in Robbinsville – July 12
Community Book Drive – On July 13
We warmly welcome all passionate hearts to join us in these impactful efforts. Come be part of our growing family of changemakers.
