Vikasa Tarangini, Vijayawada Mahila Arogya Vikas team conducted Cancer Awareness and Detection Camp at Vambe Colony Sing Nagar village in Krishna District. This camp was conducted at Sanga Mitra School in Vambe Colony. The school management also put forward its services in the camp. 68 members attend the camp. Out of them 15 people were diagnosed with abnormalities. In the camp premises 7 Biopsy`s were done and 3 people came to NRI for USG. The remaining 5 ladies will be called again for 2nd checkup.

Dr. V. Sri Latha and Dr. K. Satya Priya spent their valuable time in this camp. This camp was conducted with the help of Sundaramma. Our Arogya Vikas Volunteers P. Syamala, G. Sarada , G. Sundaramma and V.Sravani did wonderful in the camp. Last month 2 surgeries were done.

Biopsy reports will come after two days . From Kondapalli camp conducted last month 2 surgeries are to be done. A lady patient who had Mammogram and FNAC tests had breast surgery in NRI hospital. G. Naga Lakshmi, volunteer in the camp came to NRI with the team to have her tongue inspected. Our Dr. Sri Latha asked her to urgently go to Cancer Hospital for checkup. Dr. Gopichand diagnosed it as Cancer and operated it. Now she is recovering well.
