A fire mishap at Budithi, Jalamuru Mandal in Srikakulam district left homes of 16 families in pain when their thatched-roof houses were reduced to ashes. Immediate relief worth Rs.60000 including 7.5 quintals of rice, 35 blankets, utensils, cash were distributed to the affected families.
Vikasa Tarangini team of Srikakulam did not wait a minute to come together and support the families. Smt Usha Sree, Sriman Vemana, Sriman Balakrishna, Sriman Manikoda Ramaroa, Smt Hemalatha, and all the volunteers joined hands in this much-needed service.
