On January 21, 2024, in Telukunchi, Ichchapuram Mandal, Srikakulam district. Mahila Arogya Vikas VT Srikakulam team & VT Telukunchi team organized a health awareness initiative, including an examination of the oral cavity and throat. The Camp was conducted under the supervision of Dr. P. Malathi MD (gynecologist) Srikakulam, and ENT Dr.Devi Prasad Garu.

In a positive development, Dr. Malathi, a dedicated Gynaecologist at Sindhura Hospitals, Srikakulam, was inspired by a talk during the 66th All India Congress Gynaecology and Obstetrics 2024 meet in Hyderabad on January 8. Dr. Malathi expressed enthusiasm for future collaborations, highlighting her interest in conducting health camps across the district. Notably, her commitment extended to traveling 170 km to join the team in providing essential services to a remote village on the Orissa border.
