Saluru VT Conducted tree plantation drive

On July 22, 2024, Saluru Vikasatarangini and Vijay Kumar Agro Academy jointly organized a tree plantation drive using seed balls. Students prepared seed balls with custard apple, tamarind, Indian blackberry, sapota, and date seeds. These seed balls, made from a mixture of various seeds, manure, and brick ash, can remain viable for up to two years without spoiling. Hundreds of these seed balls were deployed along the roadside, where they will sprout into trees upon contact with rainwater or irrigation.
