On 15 Oct 2023 in VIZAG conducted a health awareness and preventive screening camp in V.B.V school, Gurudwara. #Cancer #Awareness and #Health #Screening follow up camp was conducted by #Mahila #Arogya #Vikas .
The camp was conducted from 9.0 am to 3.0 pm under the able guidance and supervision of Dr. Leela JI (oncologist from KIMS ICON hospital).

One woman who tested V.I.A +ve has been referred to KIMS ICON hospital for further evaluation and diagnosis.

All 8 women who tested V.I.A +ve in our previous camp conducted in Varija ashram were referred to KIMS ICON hospital.
Biopsy was done and 3 women tested +ve for HPV virus.
On further evaluation:
1. B. Indira….was advised follow up in 6 months.
2. Ammaji….is scheduled for further diagnostic tests on Thursday.
3. K. Devi….was diagnosed with pre-cancerous stage and underwent cryotherapy.
