Konaseema– the coastal regions of Andhra Pradesh, were severely affected by floods during 1997. Vikasa Tarangini Seva participated in the flood relief programs by providing the people with food, clothing, housing.

In 1997, 83 community centers were constructed as Cyclone relief activity, in konaseema, and free medical services were provided.
